The search king has a four-story barge floating in the San Francisco Bay. What does it contain? No one knows. Reports from CNET and the local CBS affiliate say the facility could house either a water-based data center, or a massive marketing center for Google Glass.
Either way, Tim says, Google wouldn't undertake such a project without first making heavy investments in advanced wireless technology. Something that delivers the sort of reliable, blazing fast Internet access that led Google to invest in WiMAX so many years ago.
