The search giant has said it could use the technology both for collecting high-resolution images and for offering Internet access in remote areas. Coca-Cola (KO 2.14%) stock was up today, after the company beat analysts' expectations for first-quarter earnings. However, revenue was still down 4% for the quarter, amid declining consumer demand for soft drinks. Motorola (MSI 0.06%) has now sold off its enterprise business, which makes hardware such as computers, tablets, and barcode scanners, to a barcode printer maker called Zebra Technologies Corp. And Citigroup (C 1.41%) saw shares rise after beating the rather low expectations for its first quarter.
