In this segment from Wednesday's Investor Beat, host Chris Hill and Motley Fool analysts Jason Moser and Simon Erickson look at four of the movers and shakers from today's market.

Shares of eBay (EBAY -0.14%) took a small hit today after the company reported a loss for the first quarter, because of a tax charge dragging down earnings. Panera Bread (PNRA) hit a new 52-week low today after its first-quarter profit fell by 12%, while same-store sales for the company were flat. Energizer Holdings (ENR -0.66%) was up big today, after announcing that it will split into two publicly traded companies, one focusing on the battery business, and the other on personal-care brands. And finally, Noodles & Co. (NDLS -7.14%) was down today after the company disappointed with its first-quarter results, blaming "unprecedented weather" for its falling same-store sales.
