Advanced Micro Devices (AMD 1.94%) has been struggling with market-share losses in its core markets for quite some time. The company recently reported its quarterly earnings, and the results show no discernible signs of any real progress on the company's turnaround. The segment containing CPUs and GPUs declined by more than half year over year, with a weak PC market doing a number of AMD's top and bottom lines.
