Microsoft (MSFT -1.27%) is banking on Windows 10 to excel where its recent operating systems have stumbled. With a deeper integration between desktop and mobile devices, a new Internet browser, and a focus on the company's virtual personal assistant, Cortana, Microsoft aims to win back Windows users. And PC users definitely need to be won over: in Q2 2015, worldwide PC shipments declined by 11.6%.
