Of all the hype and buzz in the tech world these days, nothing's bigger than virtual reality. At the recent South by Southwest Interactive conference in Austin, Texas, you couldn't turn a corner without being reminded of that fact.
But perhaps the best news is that the hype is finally becoming reality -- you can now plunk down your hard-earned cash for Facebook's (META 2.58%) Oculus Rift ($599) and HTC's Vive Pre ($799).
While the gaming market is huge, investors are also looking ahead to what VR will mean to the entertainment, real estate, and healthcare sectors.
