Solarfun Says CFO, 2 Other Execs Leave

Solar panel maker Solarfun Power Holdings Co. said Thursday it has replaced its chief financial officer, and its principal accounting officer and director of technology have left the company.
Amy Jing Liu has been appointed as CFO, replacing Kevin C. Wei, whose contract expired on Oct. 31. Principal Accounting Officer Ru Cai, whose employment contract also expired on Oct. 31, departed the company, as did Technology Director Fei Yun.
Liu previously worked as a vice president and director of finance for China and Hong Kong at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and as a finance manager at EI DuPont de Nemours & Co.
Solarfun also on Thursday reported strong third-quarter profit gains and raised its full-year revenue guidance. Its shares rose $3.44, or 29.6 percent, to $15.05 in morning trading, after ranging from $8.22 to $17.69 over the past year.
