Youbet.com Inc. Friday named Gary W. Sproule interim chief executive to succeed Charles Champion, who is stepping down after five years with the online wagering company.
Sproule has been with the company since 2002 and has been chief operating officer since July. He also has served as financial chief.
The appointment is effective Dec. 11.
