Among the initial public offerings stories for Wednesday, Dec. 12, from AP Financial News:

NEW YORK (AP) _ VanceInfo Technologies Inc. shares will begin trading Wednesday after the Chinese offshore software developer's initial public offering priced at $8.50 per American Depositary Share, the midpoint of expectations.

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. (AP) _ Classmates Media Corp., which was expected to spin off from Internet and media services company United Online Inc. with an initial public offering this week, has canceled the proposed IPO.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Shares of Xinyuan Real Estate Co., which develops real estate in China, will begin trading Wednesday after the company's initial public offering priced at $14 per American Depositary Share, the midpoint of expectations.
