IAC/Interactive in Deal With Brightcove

IAC/Interactive Corp., an Internet conglomerate run by billionaire Barry Diller, said Wednesday it signed a deal with Internet television platform Brightcove to create online videos for its businesses, including Ticketmaster and Citysearch.

IAC/Interactive's units, which also include Ask.com, Match.com, Evite and Lending Tree, among others, will be able to use Brightcove's platform to publish videos on their Web sites as well as incorporate advertising and manage distribution.

IAC/Interactive, which is a minority shareholder in Brightcove, said the agreement will broaden its brand penetration and generate more revenue.
