AP's Kenneth J. Dale Named to Two Boards

Kenneth J. Dale, senior vice president and chief financial officer of The Associated Press, was named to the boards of Adams Express Co. and Petroleum & Resources Corp., the closed-end investment companies said Friday.

General Electric Co., Microsoft Corp. and Pfizer Inc. are among Adams Express' largest holdings, and Exxon Mobil Corp., Chevron Corp. and ConocoPhillips are among the top holdings of Petroleum & Resources.

Dale, 51, joined the AP in 2000 after spending 21 years as an investment banker at what is now JPMorgan Chase & Co. His appointment to the two boards was effective Jan. 10.
