Acergy Wins $195M Contract From EnCana

Acergy SA, a British provider of engineering and construction services for offshore oil rigs, said Wednesday it received a $195 million contact from Canadian oil and gas company EnCana Corp.

The work will include installation of flow lines to offshore wells and an acid gas disposal line near Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Installation is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2010.

Shares rose 74 cents, or 4 percent, to $18.72 in premarket trading.
