NEW YORK (AP) _ Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. lowered its first-quarter earnings forecast Tuesday, citing a shift in the timing of certain expenses.

BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) _ Kraft Foods Inc., the nation's biggest food and beverage maker, on Tuesday reaffirmed 2008 earnings guidance and projected long-term earnings-per-share growth of between 7 and 9 percent.

NILES, Ohio (AP) _ RTI International Metals Inc., which makes titanium mill products and fabricated metal components, on Tuesday issued a 2008 earnings prediction, after reporting fourth-quarter earnings that fell, but still beat Wall Street's expectations.

NEW YORK (AP) _ American Electric Power Co., one of the nation's largest power generators, on Tuesday backed its previous fiscal 2008 profit guidance in a regulatory filing.

RESTON, Va. (AP) _ Information-technology services company SI International Inc. issued first-quarter and full year 2008 profit predictions Tuesday below average Wall Street predictions.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) _ Hanesbrands Inc. said Tuesday it may have higher double-digit growth in 2008 earnings due to declining interest expense, a lower tax rate and the possibility of both building the brand and cutting costs.
