Shares of online advertising and Web analytics companies mostly declined along with the broader market Friday, though Omniture Inc.'s stock rose after a Robert W. Baird & Co. analyst upgraded it to "Outperform" in the wake of a recent share price drop.
Baird analyst Steven M. Ashley raised his rating to "Outperform" from "Neutral" and kept his $30 price target for the Web analytics company's stock in a client note Friday.
Ashley cited a recent decline in the company's share price for the change and said the drop was due partly to concerns of a possible slowdown in marketing spending.
Here's several how the key online advertising and Web analytics companies fared in trading Friday:
Omniture Inc. rose 58 cents to $21.92.
Miva Inc. was flat at $1.81.
Marchex Inc. fell 2 cents to $8.80.
ComScore Inc. fell 40 cents to $19.68.
ValueClick Inc. fell 31 cents to $17.47.
