Standard & Poor's on Monday said it will add Apollo Investment Corp. and Air Methods Corp. to two of its indexes and remove MoneyGram International Inc.

MoneyGram International Inc., a money-transfer company, will be removed from the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Tuesday because it has a market value of $160 million, ranking 400th in the index.

It will be replaced by Apollo Investment Corp., which invests in stocks and bonds, at market close on Wednesday.

Air Methods Corp., a medical-transportation services company, will replace Possis Medical Inc. on the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on March 25.

Possis Medical, a medical device maker, is being acquired by S&P Global 1200 member Bayer AG in a tender offer expected to be completed on or about that date.
