Westmoreland Coal Co. said Wednesday it has replaced its chief financial officer and established several new executive positions.
Kevin Paprzycki is replacing David Blair as CFO. Paprzycki has been controller and principal accounting officer since June 2006.
Westmoreland did not provide a reason for Blair's departure.
Vice President of Development Douglas Kathol will add the role of treasurer. Kathol joined the company in August 2003.
Westmoreland also said Mary Hauck has joined the company as vice president of human resources. Hauck comes to the coal producer from Davita Inc., a health care company where she was senior human resources director.
Russ Werner has been named Westmoreland's director of accounting, while Bruno LaCrampe has been named director of internal controls. LaCrampe and Werner both joined the company in June 2006.
