ACCO Brands Corp., a supplier of office products such as staplers, dry-erase boards and day planners, opened its newly expanded plant Thursday in northeast Mississippi.
The expansion adds 330 jobs to the 500 already there, the company said.
The facility will be the company's key distribution center in the Southeast and its principal manufacturing site in North America for Quartet brand presentation boards. The company will also manufacture binders at the site.
The Booneville site has jobs in distribution, manufacturing and customer service.
ACCO Brands is headquartered in Lincolnshire, Ill. It has annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, and its brands include Day-Timer planners and Swingline staplers. Under the GBC brand, the company also is in the print finishing market.
