Commercial Metals Director Sells Shares

A director of steel producer Commercial Metals Co. sold 13,200 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Wednesday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Dorothy G. Owen reported selling the shares on Tuesday for $32 to $32.06 apiece. She reported owning 3,200 of the shares sold indirectly through a limited-liability company.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Commercial Metals is based in Columbia, S.C.
