Montpelier Names President of MUI

Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. named Francis Lockwood president of Montpelier Underwriting Inc., a subsidiary overseeing reinsurance policies underwritten for clients at Lloyd's.

Lockwood was most recently senior vice president of Catlin Underwriting Inc., and worked at Trenwick America Re for 18 years.

He will oversee the company's reinsurance business underwritten at Lloyd's, an insurance market based in London.

Montpelier also named Michael Finnegan senior vice president of Montpelier Program Management and John Dalton director of Montpelier Underwriting Inc.
