Shares of telecommunications equipment companies were little changed in morning trading Tuesday, as the broader market advanced following better-than-expected earnings from Johnson & Johnson and two financial services companies.

Inflation concerns remain, however, and crude oil prices surged to nearly $114 a barrel, stoking investor worries.

Here is how some key telecom equipment stocks performed Tuesday morning:

Cisco Systems Inc., rose 3 cents to $23.34.

Alcatel-Lucent American Depositary Shares fell 5 cents to $5.82.

Nortel Networks Corp. slid 4 cents to $6.89.

Juniper Networks Inc. fell 12 cents to $22.99.
