WEST PATERSON, N.J. (AP) _ Cytec Industries Inc., a specialty chemicals and materials maker, on Thursday affirmed its full-year 2008 guidance.

CHICAGO (AP) _ Smurfit-Stone Container Corp., which makes paperboard and paper-based packaging, said Thursday it agreed to take a 90 percent stake in Calpine Corrugated, an independent corrugated container producer based in Fresno, Calif.

ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Amdocs Ltd., which provides operations software to telecommunications companies, on Thursday steered its full-year earnings expectations downward but issued an adjusted third-quarter outlook that could meet or beat Wall Street's expectations.

CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) _ Callaway Golf Co. said Thursday it expects to post strong first-quarter results, but the uncertain economy tempered the golf equipment maker's outlook for the full year.
