NEW YORK (AP) _ Defense contractor L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. raised its full-year profit and sales forecast Thursday after first-quarter earnings beat Wall Street's expectations.

UTICA, N.Y. (AP) _ Surgical equipment maker Conmed Corp. on Thursday said it is raising its full-year profit outlook, based on the company's first-quarter results.

COVINGTON, La. (AP) _ Pool Corp. said Thursday it expects full-year earnings to come in range of analysts' estimates after reporting it swung to a first-quarter loss.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) _ Fertilizer and seed company Bunge Ltd. on Thursday raised its full-year 2008 profit guidance by about 4 percent as increasing global food demand boosts prices of fertilizers and seeds.
