NAME: Kirk Kerkorian

AGE: 90 (Born June 6, 1917)

TITLE: Owner, Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Tracinda Corp., which holds a majority stake in casino and hotel operator MGM Mirage Inc., and is the largest shareholder of Delta Petroleum Corp., an oil and gas exploration company based in Denver. Tracinda was the largest shareholder in Chrysler Corp. when the automaker combined with Daimler-Benz AG in 1998.

NET WORTH: An estimated $18 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

EDUCATION: Barnes Air Academy, commercial pilot's license.

CAREER: Officer of MGM studios beginning in 1973; airline owner and operator, 1947-69; British Royal Air Force Transport Command, captain, 1942-44.

FAMILY: Married and divorced three times. Three daughters.
