HOUSTON (AP) _ Oil and natural gas pipeline operator TEPPCO Partners LP said Tuesday its first-quarter profit sank by more than half because of interest charges and a big gain on a division sale last year.

MENLO PARK, Calif. (AP) _ Shares in microchip manufacturing equipment supplier Ultra Clean Holdings Inc. fell Tuesday after it said its first-quarter profit fell on a decline in sales.

WYOMISSING, Pa. (AP) _ Specialty alloy maker Carpenter Technology Corp. said Tuesday its fiscal third-quarter profit nearly doubled on the sale of its ceramics businesses.

DULUTH, Ga. (AP) _ Agricultural equipment distributor Agco Corp. said Tuesday its first-quarter profit more than doubled as international sales surged, particularly in South America.
