Cheesecake Factory EVP exercises options

An executive vice president at casual dining chain Cheesecake Factory Inc. exercised options for 20,000 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Thursday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Debby R. Zurzolo reported she exercised options for the shares Wednesday for $5.90 apiece and then sold the same number of them the same day for $22.38 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Cheesecake Factory is based in Calabasas Hills, Calif.
