Energy and construction company MDU Resources Group Inc. on Friday raised its 2008 earnings forecast, putting it more in line with Wall Street's expectations.
The company, which reported first-quarter profits jumped by more than half, now expects full-year earnings of $1.85 to $2.10 per share. It previously forecast $1.65 to $1.90 per share.
Analysts are expecting earnings of $1.98 per share, on average, according to a survey by Thomson Financial.
