CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. (AP) _ American Public Education Inc., which runs an online education system, on Friday raised its full-year profit outlook above Wall Street's estimates based on solid first-quarter results.

NEW YORK (AP) _ Consolidated Edison Inc. said Friday it expects to earn $2.95 to $3.15 a share from ongoing operations in 2008, roughly in line with what Wall Street analysts are expecting.

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ Energy and construction company MDU Resources Group Inc. on Friday raised its 2008 earnings forecast, putting it more in line with Wall Street's expectations.
