Standard & Poor's to add DreamWorks to S&P MidCap 400

Standard & Poor's said Monday that animated film producer DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. will replace Millennium Pharmaceuticals Inc. in the S&P MidCap 400 after the close of trading on Thursday.

Millennium Pharmaceuticals is being acquired by Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. in a deal expected to close on or about that day.

In addition, S&P said health insurer HealthSpring Inc. will replace Franklin Bank Corp. in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Wednesday, citing the bank's market cap of $26 million, which ranked last in the index.

And specialty coffee company Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. will replace Matria Healthcare Inc., which is being acquired by Inverness Medical Innovations, in the S&P SmallCap 600 on a date to be announced, S&P said.
