Blue Nile appoints Marc Stolzman as new CFO

Online jewelry retailer Blue Nile Inc. said Tuesday it has appointed Marc Stolzman as chief financial officer, succeeding Robin Easton, who resigned in March.

Stolzman joins the company on June 9 from Imperium Renewables, a biodiesel refining and manufacturing technology company.

Previously Stolzman held executive positions at Starbucks Coffee Co., including senior vice president of finance and business development and CFO of Starbucks Coffee Japan.

Blue Nile shares fell $2.58, or 5.4 percent, to close at $45.18.
