Delphi Financial Group director buys 25,000 shares

A director of Delphi Financial Group Inc., which underwrites employee benefits, bought 25,000 shares of stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday.
In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Kevin Brine reported he bought the shares for $26.57 to $27 apiece on Wednesday.
Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.
Delphi Financial Group is based in Wilmington, Del.
