WILMINGTON, Mass. (AP) _ Medical researcher Charles River Laboratories International Inc. on Monday backed its previous 2008 guidance after posting strong first-quarter results.

BOSTON (AP) _ Boston Beer Co. Inc., which brews Sam Adams-brand beers, said Tuesday costs and lost sales associated with a recall of glass bottles in April will lead to lower-than-expected profit in 2008.

AGOURA HILLS, Calif. (AP) _ Video game publisher THQ Inc. said Tuesday it expects to post a net loss in its fiscal first quarter, reflecting a "light product release schedule and the timing of expenses."
