China Security & Surveillance Technology Inc., which provides digital surveillance technology, on Friday said its president resigned.
Shufang Yang, who resigned effective Tuesday, plans to pursue other opportunities outside of the security industry. His departure is not a result of any disagreement with the company, China Security said.
Yang, who joined China Security in 2006, will serve as a consultant to the company for five years.
China Security shares fell 35 cents to $18.70 in aftermarket trading, after falling 58 cents, or 3 percent, to close at $19.05 in the regular session.
