Closing Glance: Health care equipment and supply stocks fall

Health care equipment and supply stocks continued to fall in late trading Friday as investors worried that hefty losses at insurer American International Group and rising oil prices signal more trouble ahead.

How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies ended regular trading:

Varian Medical Systems Inc. lost 66 cents to $45.89.

Stryker Corp. fell 13 cents to $64.48.

Baxter International Inc. declined 45 cents to $61.25.

Boston Scientific Inc. slipped 26 cents to $13.42.
