Household durables stocks mostly fell Friday as the price of oil set a new record near $126 a barrel and American International Group, the world's largest insurer, said it lost $7.81 billion in the first quarter.
Here's how some stocks of household durables companies traded:
Black & Decker Corp., down 83 cents to $66.82.
Whirlpool Corp., up 60 cents to $72.43.
Snap-on Inc., down $1.25, or 2.1 percent, to $58.46.
Stanley Works, down 17 cents to $48.64.
