Major beverage stocks turned lower early Friday on renewed concerns over rising oil prices and the health of the financial industry. American International Group, the world's largest insurer, said it lost $7.81 billion in the first quarter.
How shares of some major beverage makers performed just after the opening bell:
Molson Coors Brewing Co. fell 66 cents to $55.44.
Anheuser-Busch Cos. dropped 42 cents to $50.70.
Coca-Cola Co. lost 27 cents to $56.02.
PepsiCo Inc. fell 50 cents to $67.04.
