Shares of aerospace and defense companies finished in positive territory Monday as the sector rose with the broader markets.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose more than 130 points late in the day, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose almost 40 points.

L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. added $1.25 to $108.86.
United Technologies Corp. picked up $1.44 to $74.57.
Lockheed Martin Corp. rose $1.13 to $106.97.
