Shares of machinery companies fluctuated in early trading Monday, as the broader market rose, as oil prices ticked lower and the dollar advanced.

The price of light, sweet crude fell 77 cents to $125.19 per barrel in premarket electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Here's how some machinery stocks were doing in early trading:

Manitowoc Co., down 1 cent at $40.81.

Terex Corp., down 68 cents at $70.55.

Cummins Inc., down 44 cents at $66.54.

Caterpillar Inc., up 12 cents at $81.88.

Deere & Co., up 63 cents at $86.94.
