Opening glance: Major beverage stocks mixed

Major beverage stocks rose were mixed Monday, while the broader market posted modest gains, as investors were encouraged that inflation may calm as the dollar advanced and oil prices declined.

How shares of some major beverage makers performed just after the opening bell:

Molson Coors Brewing Co. gained 21 cents to $56.21.

Anheuser-Busch Cos. rose 30 cents to $51.23.

Coca-Cola Co. dipped 4 cents to $56.11.

PepsiCo Inc. slipped 23 cents to $67.28.
