SonoSite names Bernard Pitz as new chief financial officer

SonoSite Inc., a maker of hand-carried ultrasound devices, said Monday it named Bernard J. Pitz as chief financial officer, replacing Mike Schuh, who will take on a new company position overseeing business processes.

Prior to joining SonoSite, Pitz was CFO of Sybron Dental Specialties, a manufacturer of high-technology dental products.
