Closing glance: Major beverage stocks mostly rise

Major beverage stocks mostly rose Tuesday, despite broad market losses following a sharp spike in oil prices and a lackluster retail sales report from the Commerce Department.

How shares of some major beverage makers performed:

Molson Coors Brewing Co. rose 73 cents to at $57.79.

Anheuser-Busch Cos. rose 44 cents to $52.05.

Coca-Cola Co. rose 10 cents to $56.50.

PepsiCo Inc. fell 10 cents to $67.25.
