Among the initial public offerings stories for Tuesday, May 13, from AP Financial News:

NEW YORK (AP) _ Grand Canyon Education Inc., which provides online graduate and undergraduate programs, plans an initial public offering, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Tuesday.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ Pump and valve manufacturer Colfax Corp. said Tuesday that its initial public offering has closed, including an additional 2.8 million shares purchased by the underwriters under an overallotment option.
