Spectra Energy Partners CFO Mitchell retires

Spectra Energy Partners LP said Wednesday Lon C. Mitchell, Jr. has retired as vice president and chief financial officer of Spectra Energy Partners GP LLC, the partnership's general partner, and will be succeeded by Laura Buss Sayavedra.

Sayavedra previously served as vice president of strategic development and analysis for Spectra Energy Corp. Prior to that, she served as vice president, operations and analytics for Duke Energy North America.

Sayavedra will assume her new post July 1. Mitchell will remain with Spectra until July 31 to assist with the transition.
