Closing glance: health care equipment and supplies

Health care equipment and supply stocks close mixed Friday. The broader market dipped slightly as oil prices hit a new record of more than $127 a barrel.

How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies ended regular trading:

Varian Medical Systems Inc. lost 36 cents to $45.95.

Boston Scientific Inc. dipped 3 cents to $13.40.

Stryker Corp. added 36 cents to $63.24.

Baxter International Inc. rose 11 cents to $61.27.
