Sysco sales up ahead of Mother's Day week

Food distributor Sysco Corp. said Friday its sales rose 6.7 percent during the week ahead of Mother's Day compared with the same week last year.
The company said it posted sales of about $806 million.
Sysco distributes food to restaurants, healthcare and school facilities, hotels and other customers who prepare meals away from home.
The company said it has posted record sales for 30 years in a row in the week leading up to Mother's Day.
