Varian Medical Systems Inc. fell 29 cents to $45.66.
Boston Scientific Inc. lost 2 cents to $13.38.
Stryker Corp. dropped 65 cents to $62.59.
Bucking the trend, Baxter International Inc. added 18 cents to $61.45.
