Household-durables stocks were mixed Monday as a report from the Conference Board showed positive economic growth in April, yet crude-oil prices continue to float near all-time highs.

Black & Decker Corp., down 67 cents to $66.84.
Whirlpool Corp., down 44 cents to $74.43.
Snap-on Inc., up 13 cents to $60.91.
Stanley Works, up 21 cents to $50.13.
