Shares of investment banks fell throughout the day Monday after an analyst cut his earnings estimates for Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Morgan Stanley.
Goldman Sachs shares fell $2.74 to $184.40
Lehman Brothers shares declined 85 cents, or 2 percent, to $42.79
Shares of Morgan Stanley fell $1.01, or 2.1 percent, to $46.20
Bear Stearns Cos. shares fell 5 cents to $10.18
Shares of Merrill Lynch & Co. declined $1.01, or 2.1 percent, to $47.71
