Commercial bank stocks were mixed Monday as investors digested a report showing the economy improved slightly last month, and as the price of crude oil continued to float near recent highs.

National City Corp., up 30 cents, or 5.4 percent, to $5.88.
Wachovia Corp., down 3 cents to $27.36.
First Horizon National Corp., down 7 cents to $9.84.
Zions Bancorp., up 9 cents to $44.14.
