GenTek suspends buyback program

GenTek Inc., which makes chemical and industrial products, said Monday it was suspending its share repurchase program.
In August the Parsippany, N.J.-based company said it would spend up to $30 million on the repurchase program. To date, the company bought back 347,460 shares.
Shares rose 4 cents to $29.65 during afternoon trading.
