'Prince Caspian' seizes box office crown from 'Iron Man'

"The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" seized the box-office crown on its debut weekend, with $55 million in ticket sales.

The second of the "Narnia" series now heads into the Memorial Day weekend facing a challenge from the long-awaited sequel, "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" _ which debuted at the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday to wan reviews.

The top 20 movies at U.S. and Canadian theaters Friday through Sunday, followed by distribution studio, gross, number of theater locations, average receipts per location, total gross and number of weeks in release, as compiled Monday by Media By Numbers LLC:
